 4 Doctoral Scholarships still available

Position for 4 doctoral candidates are currently being offered through the GenMik Cooperative PhD Programme under the sponsorships of the State Graduate Funding Law (LGFG).

General Information

The University of Freiburg has been offering the Mechanisms of Microstructure Generation Cooperative PhD Programme together with Furtwangen University since 2011.

Four doctoral scholarship positions are now available for the next research period starting in 2014. The deadline for application is 31 October, 2014. The research goals of GenMik are a better understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of microstructure generation and a modelling of basic principles thus enabling further miniaturization steps and the development of new techniques for the improvement of specific related processes. The unique interdisciplinary research approach of GenMik combines traditional research skills with applied research techniques.

The selected doctoral candidates can choose to work on one of the following open Projects:

A3:      ECM - Toolbox
